Hands On Science, based in Edmonton, Alberta, was established in 2000 with the aim of providing interactive, curriculum-based science field trips tailored for elementary students. Founded by Birgitte Dam, the company seeks to make science enjoyable and accessible while reducing the logistic burdens on teachers.
Since its inception, Hands On Science has successfully expanded its offerings, adapting to the needs of local schools and the Alberta K-6 Science Curriculum. Now led by Lis, Birgitte’s daughter, the business continues to thrive, fostering a love for science through memorable hands-on experiences in classrooms across Edmonton.
